Opportunites for adults

West Valley Hooks and Needles

The West Valley Hooks and Needles meet at 10 a.m. every 2nd and 4th Mondays in Room 3 of the church.  If you knit or crochet and would like to share your talents to benefit others, you are invited to join. Most recently the group has created and donated caps, scarves, mittens and chemo caps to the teen homeless shelter and Cancer Center of America. Men’s Fellowship Groups

United Methodist Men (UMM) – The local chapter of the United Methodist Men is very active at Christ Community United Methodist Church. The UMM support the local Boy Scout Troop, as well as providing a Men’s Breakfast Fellowship meeting at 8:00 a.m. on the 3rd Saturday of every month.
 
Women’s Fellowship Groups

Rachel Circle – meets on the third Thursday of the month for meal and fellowship. Meeting locations change each month.  Rachel Circle is a women’s group focused on Christian fellowship, Bible study, prayer, and mission work.

Women Of Worship (WOW) – WOW, annual retreats provide a connection for women seeking spiritual growth.  While this retreat is sponsored by Christ Community UMC, it provides speakers from all walks of life who share insight on how to live life in the presence of God. The weekend retreats are held at locations that provide peace, tranquility, and fun!

WOW also sponsors an annual fundraiser to help those who would like to attend the annual retreat but need financial assistance to do so.  This fundraiser is an exciting time of fellowship and great food.  You can make your payment for the retreat or fundraiser here.  Payment installments for the retreat are also accepted up to one month prior to the yearly retreat date.  Not able to attend either event but would still like to help?  You can give a donation or pay and register for your guest here.  Please put your guest’s name in the optional "If this is a gift, please note who it is for" box.
 
Other Fellowship Offerings:

Prayer and Praise – Group meets Mondays at 9:30am in the office conference room.

Kitchen Krew – The Kitchen Krew meets monthly for baking and cooking projects and helps with special meals throughout the year.  Funds raised from their baking and cooking projects are used to stock the kitchen with supplies.
